1. Most successful porject- My most successful project was most definietly this one. I was able to learn how to make an ocean look realistic with the splashes and different blues and greens, I learned 2 point perspective, I loved how the sky turned out, loved the colors and since it was so important to me I actually took my time on it and I really tried on it. The buoy was also a successful part for me because ocean again I learned how to make something realistic in a way. 2. Project differently: If I could do this project differently I would do this one just because I don't feel like I did the grooves deep enough when I etched it and with not doing them deep enough the colors didnt take well enough. I also think I would have added more designs to it to make it seem more unique. I didn't really enjoy doing this so I feel like that had an affect on how it turned out but I do like how it turned out. 3. Compare and Contrast: -Compare: These 2 paintings are similar because they are both paintings on a canvas, they are both 2 of my favorite pieces of artwork, and they mean something to me and aren't just random pieces of artwork. -Contrast: So the 2 pieces of artwork are different by what they are, the first one is the ocean and was done for someone I care about and it was something that means a lot to me and the person, it is more realistic and you can actually tell what it is, the second painting is a metaphor that means something to me, it was one of my first paintings so obviously it isn't the best. Its realistic with the head but not with the windows for the eyes. 4. Artistic Behavior and new unit: Street Art?? I think it would be cool to see how someone can just do whatever they want with like spray paint and things like that. I think it would be nice for people to just explore that type of artwork and see what they could do with it and if they would like that type of art.

i saw a design in a book that I liked so I wanted to trya nd put my own spin on it. I decided to use Kirsten's head and then I did etching to give it color which I think came out really cool and really unusual and unique.
So I really loved my blind portrait that I recieved. It capture me perfectly I feel like, with my big heart that is hurt by the little things, it has daisies all over it whch is my favorite flower, it has designs all of it which shows how I am all over the place, which I love so much.
What is this artwork intended to say? My artwork is suppose to show how the eyes are the window to the soul and how the eyes show whats really going on in a person. I think this shows it well. It shows out inside she wants to be as calm and beautiful as the sea but the empty flower pots show how she actually isn't.
How is this artwork about who you are or what you like? I really love anything that has to do with the ocean so being able to tie the ocean into it was really nice and my soul definitely lies with the ocean so that shows me as well. For this piece of artwork I looked at other artwork to be inspired. I saw a painting of the ocean and wanted to do a mermaid but wanted it to be different, so I took 3 different mermaids and picked something from each one that I liked and drew them all together to get one new mermaid. I used watercolor for the background and for the mermaid. I picked the color purple for her hair and a yellow for the background, which the background is a little bright for my liking. I made the yellow darker in some spots while in other spots the yellow is lighter. I also decided to add glitter to the tail and and to her fins. I like how her scales came out with the glitter because it makes it look more like actual scales and more like a mermaid. This is one of my favorite piece of work.
For this I picked an art technique I wasn't really sure of because i haven't used or made stencils before for an art project. I also haven't used spray paint for one either so that was new. I really like how it turned out and I like the words in the background because it gives it its own look.
